The Origin
Born from frustration.
In 2023, after losing $14,000 to a client who downloaded a high-res master file and disappeared, we realized the entire foundation of freelance deal-making was broken.
As independent creators, we are constantly told to "trust the client" and "build relationships." But without leverage, a relationship is just a suggestion. We were using tools built for sharing files (Dropbox, WeTransfer) or tracking time (Upwork, Fiverr) — neither of which protected our proprietary assets.
We built Bryk Works to solve one simple equation: The Deliverable = The Payment. These two events must happen at the exact same millisecond. No exceptions. No "Net 45". No "I'll run to the bank on Monday".

Every feature we ship is evaluated on one metric: does this increase the independent creator's leverage in a deal? If not, we don't build it.
